it was an alright video, not amazingly creative, but alright nonetheless. But I don't think videos belong on newgrounds, nor does it need a video section. There's lots of sites for it with lots of viewers, there's no need for newgrounds to get crowded with that. The amount of video it receives is fine with me.
First off, your Guitar Hero video was incredibly awesome and well done! I definitely think it deserved the front page.
Secondly, videos should be more than welcome to Newgrounds. There could be maybe rules and guidelines as to what type of video should be able to go through the portal. Video blogs could possibly be a feature specifically for the user page, and not the portal.
One other thing. What do you mean by "not anyone can submit a video"? Does a Newgrounds member have to get permission in order to submit videos?
Nah, I just meant that getting a video to display properly in flash format prevents anyone without familiarity on the subject from submitting a video

there should be a video portal. however, people will start to submit their shit homemade porno tapes and before we know it, newgrounds will have a bra hanging off a penis as it's logo.

I loved this video, especially the driving part. But i think video submissions can be hard. Some, like this and numa nima have been front paged and loved, but when an artist submits a video to the portal, people will say ," leave it on youtube" so i dont know, keep the dosage small?
Personally, I think there should be a video section on NG because it requires editing and you can even do Flash in it, Oh and sorry for the How To Edit A Website thread I posted. I didn't realize people on that thread were so defensive lol.
I personally am not a fan of video submissions here on NG, especially those damn claymations... But seeing as you are WELL known here, and it is an epic video, I would say it's OK here. But in all fairness, if it was a submission from some person that no one heard of before, it probably would be removed... Yes NG is a flash only site, but seeing as video submissions still survive on here, not being blammed or being just plain removed, I would guess they are allowed. The half a second lag isn't really that noticeable with the rapid notes, but the single notes was when it really came out.
And what was the percentage on that? must of been over 90% or so :D
